Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a service technician assistant to perform installation, maintenance and repair of propane systems and gas-powered appliances in field settings. The role involves transporting tanks, diagnosing issues, and following detailed directions from certified technicians.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and may need to pass background checks and drug testing. The job is field-based and weather-exposed, primarily outdoors, with regular weekday hours and possible

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove propane tanks and gas-powered appliances.
• Install and maintain gas piping systems including underground, above ground, and interior piping.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair propane tanks, supply systems and gas-powered appliances.
• Perform inspections and leak tests of supply systems and equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and refurbish company-owned equipment.
