Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Field Project Manager for Edward Don & Company's Foodservice Equipment division. You will oversee projects from start to finish, manage budgets and change orders, and coordinate with subcontractors and trades to meet specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years of field PM experience, strong reading of plans, and knowledge of construction regs. Proficiency with MS 365 and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 1–3 years of field project management experience in the foodservice equipment installation or similar construction industry.
• Ability to read and comprehend floor plans, equipment manuals, schematics, and complex instructions.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Must be able to work in office and construction field environments.
• Strong organizational, time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking skills with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license in the state where applying for position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage projects from start to completion.
• Ensure all projects are recorded and managed according to specifications.
• Select and manage subcontractors performing work under contract.
• Coordinate interfacing work with related trades.
• Request schedule/critical path information from client and contractors.
• Review documents creating RFIs and questions for the project team before pre-order meeting.
• Schedule pre-order meetings with CSR, estimator, project coordinator and drafter.
• Notify purchasing, estimating and installation of project date changes after PO issuance.
• Conduct field verifications involving MEPs (Hoods, Demand Aire, MUA, Walk-In).
• Keep drawings and cut sheets up to date and shared with install team.
• Coordinate timing, receiving protocol, and on-site sign-off for deliveries.
• Ensure scope completion, punch list and QA/QC.
• Notify project team when final health inspection passes to reconcile project.
• Manage financial and timely success of projects.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
