Job summary

Edward Don & Company is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead assigned projects for the Foodservice Equipment division. You will work with Contract Sales Representatives and Estimators to ensure projects meet construction drawings and quote specifications.

The role requires reading floor plans, manuals, and schematics, plus navigating regulatory requirements. Strong organizational and communication skills, field and office experience, and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma with 1–3 years of field project management experience in foodservice equipment installation or similar construction.
• Ability to read floor plans, manuals, schematics, and complex instructions.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Must work in office and construction field environments.
• Strong organizational, time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking skills; self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license in the state of application.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all projects are recorded and managed to specifications.
• Select and manage all subcontractors performing contracted work.
• Coordinate interfacing work with related trades.
• Request schedule/critical path info from client and contractors.
• Prepare RFIs and internal questions for pre-order meetings.
• Schedule pre-order meetings with CSR, estimator, project coordinator and drafter.
• Notify purchasing, estimating and installation of changes after PO issuance.
• Conduct field verifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing to MEPs, hoods, and related items.
• Keep drawings and cut sheets up to date and shared with install team.
• Coordinate timing, receiving protocol, and on-site sign-off for deliveries.
• Ensure scope completion, punch lists and QA/QC.
• Notify project team when health final inspection passes to reconcile project.
• Oversee financial and timely success of projects.
• Multiple field visits to job sites as needed.
• Write RFIs.
• All other duties as assigned.
