Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure project execution within scope, budget, and schedule while mentoring staff and coordinating with the project team.

Responsibilities include on-site oversight, subcontractor coordination, risk mitigation, and quality assurance to maximize customer satisfaction. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in relevant field.
• Education: College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with building automation, fire/life safety, or security systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Prepares project installation plans and implements job procedures with the Project Coordinator.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Recruits and hires project staff and provides performance management.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards; installs and tests systems.
