Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager in Lima, OH to lead installation, programming, start-up, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure work is completed on time, within scope and budget.

You will supervise field staff and subcontractors, coordinate on-site activities, manage risks, and uphold quality in line with codes. Strong communication, blueprint reading and MS Office skills are essential; frequent site

Qualifications

• Supervise field staff and subcontractors on construction/installation sites.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm, or security systems is essential.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to verify installation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, programming, start-up, and certification of systems.
• Coordinate on-site activities with Project Coordinator and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Mentor and develop field personnel, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Identify risks, propose mitigations, and manage changes within scope and cost constraints.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support during commissioning and training.
