Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Field Product Advisor to support customers from the Missouri/Kansas City area. You will deliver expert technical support, product training, and field service in collaboration with Sales, Warranty, and Training leadership, helping accelerate adoption and reinforce quality.

You will travel up to 50% to client sites, distributors, and events, build relationships with third-party service partners, and contribute to field education and product updates. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, product training, or field service in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Travel up to 50%; able to travel for customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and virtual technical support with Sales, Warranty, Support, and Regional Tech Supervisors.
• Lead product training and live demos at customer sites, distributor branches, and events.
• Assist with field validation, warranty readiness, and feedback to Product/Engineering.
• Build and manage relationships with third-party service partners.
• Act as a field liaison between Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, and Training.
• Share insights from the field to improve training content, warranty analysis, and products.
