Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking Field Tech/Power Systems Technicians (I–IV) to perform service, testing and maintenance on power transmission and distribution equipment in California. The role covers LV to 500 kV systems, including switchgear, transformers and related components.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with related experience; NETA/OSHA knowledge is a plus, and a valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year related experience (Tech I).
• NETA/OSHA/NFPA knowledge preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and peers.
• Experience with switchgear up to 500 kV is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license if position uses company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection on low to high voltage systems (up to 500kV).
• Test and repair transformers, circuit breakers, and related equipment (45 KVA to 130 MVA).
• Operate high voltage test equipment and perform on-site start-ups and troubleshooting.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory laws and safety procedures.
• Support maintenance, testing and repair activities as directed by supervisor.
