Job summary

Total Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to support customers across Baton Rouge, Geismar/Gonzales, New Orleans and surrounding South Louisiana markets. The role emphasizes diagnosing power needs, recommending generator solutions, and working directly with industrial and commercial customers in the field.

The ideal candidate has strong outside sales experience with generators or power-generation solutions and a solid technical background to discuss

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience preferred.
• Direct generator or power-generation sales experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business throughout South Louisiana territory.
• Visit customer facilities, plants and job sites to assess power requirements.
• Recommend generator and power solutions based on application, load, voltage and operating requirements.
• Prepare proposals and manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with plant personnel, contractors, and procurement teams.
