Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a People Operations Partner, Field, to be a trusted partner to our field organization and help drive a high-performing, people-first culture across multiple markets.

This highly field-facing role blends strategy with hands-on work, with regular time in our stores and travel across supported markets. Based in Brooklyn, NY, you will partner with General Managers, Shift Leads, and Operations Managers on hiring, onboarding, performance, engagement, staffing, and talent

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR or People Ops experience with frontline, hourly, or field-based teams.
• Working knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience coaching managers and partnering with leaders to navigate employee relations, performance, and team challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to regularly travel to stores and across supported markets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with TA and OperationsManagers on hiring strategy, interview calibration, and workforce planning across markets.
• Support strong hiring decisions by assessing talent quality, team fit, and long-term potential.
• Ensure new hires have a smooth onboarding experience from offer to ramp-up.
• Proactively identify hiring gaps, staffing risks, and organizational needs within markets.
• Coach and support GMs, Shift Leads, and Operations Managers on performance management and team dynamics.
• Lead employee relations matters and investigations from intake through resolution with documentation and professionalism.
