Blank Street is seeking a People Operations Partner, Field, to act as a trusted partner to our field organization and drive a high-performing, people-first culture across multi-market stores in New York and beyond.

You will blend strategic HR with hands-on execution, supporting employee relations, staffing, performance, engagement, and leadership development while identifying trends and opportunities to improve retention and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR or People Ops experience with frontline/staff-facing support.
• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or high-volume environments preferred.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience coaching managers and partnering with leaders on ER, performance, and team challenges.
• Ability to travel regularly to stores and markets.
• Must be based in NYC with flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations Managers on hiring strategy and workforce planning across markets.
• Coach GMs, Shift Leads, and Operations Managers on performance, accountability, feedback, and team dynamics.
• Drive execution of People programs including performance coaching, engagement actions, and policy rollouts.
• Support internal promotions, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Lead employee relations matters and investigations with documentation and judgment.
