Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Field Patient Access Liaison to execute patient engagement strategies, support REMS certification, and educate sites on access and reimbursement. This field-based role will strengthen site readiness, navigate care logistics, and uphold non-promotional boundaries across REMS, specialty pharmacy, and distribution networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical/biotech, including navigating healthcare ecosystems.
• Experience supporting access and reimbursement processes, specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, affordability programs, and compliant access resources.
• Experience helping sites support patient progression from referral through treatment initiation by identifying barriers and coordinating resources.
• Experience partnering with treatment sites to assess needs, strengthen workflows, and build trusted account relationships.
• Strong planning, organization, accountability, disciplined execution, and ability to use data and field insights to address access challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support REMS certification and enrolment: Educate sites on REMS site certification activities and patient REMS enrolment processes.
• Enable site access readiness: Support site access workflows after REMS certification and strengthen account relationships for therapy delivery.
• Provide reimbursement and access education: Educate on coverage, coding, payment, reimbursement, beneficiary verifications, prior authorizations, appeals, and access processes.
• Educate on case management processes: Cover consented patients, benefit investigations, verifications, prior authorizations, appeals, and affordability navigation.
• Support case-level access resolution: Identify and troubleshoot barriers through buy-and-bill, HUB, and other approved pathways.
• Enable treatment logistics understanding: Coordinate patient treatment logistics across REMS, HUB, and distribution partners.
