Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Field Patient Access Liaison to support REMS certification, site access readiness, and compliant reimbursement education. This field-based role requires strong collaboration with sites, HUBs, and matrix partners to ensure efficient patient access and treatment logistics across REMS requirements.

The role emphasizes non-promotional, compliant engagement and requires ability to travel within assigned California territories up to 50% or more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharma/biotech.
• Experience supporting access and reimbursement processes including specialty pharmacy programs, coverage verification, prior authorization, and affordability programs.
• Experience enabling patient progression from referral to treatment initiation by identifying barriers and connecting resources.
• Experience partnering with treatment sites to assess needs, strengthen workflows, and build trusted relationships.
• Strong planning, organization, accountability, and data-driven execution across multiple accounts.
• Demonstrated collaboration with matrix partners while maintaining non-promotional role boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support REMS certification and enrolment; educate sites on certification activities and REMS enrolment processes.
• Enable site access readiness; strengthen account relationships and ensure operational readiness for therapy delivery.
• Provide reimbursement and access education on coverage, coding, payment, and appeals.
• Educate on case management processes for consented patients, including HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
• Identify and troubleshoot case-level access barriers through approved pathways.
• Coordinate patient treatment logistics across REMS requirements, HUB, and distribution partners.
• Collaborate on cross-functional handoffs and referrals with Sales and Site of Care Leads.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation of activities and outcomes.
