Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients. You will grow sales by building and maintaining relationships, identifying prospective customers, and following up on leads.

The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills, with travel to customer sites as needed. Company benefits and training are provided as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or at least 1 year of related B2B experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify product needs and suggests solutions.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products to customers.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues post-sale.
• Keeps existing and previous customers informed about new products and services.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and customer relationships.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
