United Central Industrial Supply is actively seeking an energetic and self-driven Account Manager (Field / Outside Sales) to promote and facilitate the sale of industrial supplies to core and target accounts within the Beckley, WV metropolitan area. Essential qualifications include 1+ years of outside sales experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required as baseline education.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis in business, marketing, sales, mechanical, engineering or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Market planning and research to determine opportunities within core and target accounts in Beckley area.
• Promote product lines to core/target accounts with branch managers and personnel.
• Develop territory action plans to capture major share of core/target business.
• Visit customer sites daily to understand needs, take orders, promote products, and maintain relationships with mine-level personnel.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control on stock levels and obsolete inventory.
