Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Team Captain of On Field Operations to lead execution across the sales floor, ensuring strong merchandising, pricing, and athlete experiences.

You will coach teammates to deliver an athlete-first shopping experience and help manage priorities for your department. In this role you will partner with store leadership to develop plans, schedule staff, and maintain daily operations while upholding safety, loss prevention, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Store operations knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution across the sales floor with strong merchandising, pricing, and athlete experience.
• Coach teammates, manage priorities, and deliver an athlete-first shopping experience.
• Develop 30-60-90 day plans to support business priorities for assigned department(s).
• Help establish working plans related to staffing, budgeting, and operations in line with goals.
• Ensure training, coaching, and accountability for policies and procedures.
