Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC Foreperson position responsible for supervising daily field operations and planning workload with management. You will guide crew, troubleshoot site issues, and ensure safety compliance on every job.

Responsibilities include on-site training, OSHA-based safety enforcement, and maintaining customer relations, records, and reports. Must be able to travel for storm work and possess a CDL and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, lines equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to multitask and stay organized on field assignments.
• Able to travel for storm work and work in varying field conditions.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses access, outages and job scope with property owners; refers issues to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains customer relations and professional crew behavior.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and equipment usage.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed and crew productivity to superiors.
• Keeps up with equipment repairs and vehicle maintenance.
