Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a General Foreperson to lead field crews, coordinate with management on hiring needs and deadlines, and enforce safety protocols on job sites. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, training, and mentoring employees and contractors.

The position reports to management, requires CDL and DOT-compliant practices, and involves direct supervision, cost awareness, and ensuring quality work across multiple crews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and follow prints, visualize a job build, and apply critical thinking to solve problems and identify job-site hazards.
• Ability to work safely, productively, and follow directions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with client representatives and stakeholders; obtain permission to perform work.
• Carry out job site inspections and mitigate hazards.
• Manage job cost control and invoice reconciliation.
• Interpret orders and report accurately in customer systems.
• Direct emergencies and assist with incident reports and investigations.
• Supervise crews on new tasks and safety practices.
• Administer training and policy interpretation.
• Participate in regional safety training and follow safety guidelines.
