Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. The role involves supervising crew members, training, and maintaining documentation while coordinating with management.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, field adaptability, and commitment to safety standards. A CDL is required and travel for storm work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Capable of traveling for storm work.
• Must meet weight and safety requirements (no more than 300 pounds).
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after orders.
• Conduct field training and retraining of crew.
• Enforce safe work practices per policy and OSHA.
• Discuss site issues with owners and refer complex cases.
• Obtain permission to perform required work.
• Maintain good customer relations through quality work.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Control crew costs and efficient use of resources.
• Furnish reports of orders, completed units, and crew time.
• Inspect and arrange repairs for tools and equipment.
