Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily performance of service providers and on-road staff to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in package delivery. The role emphasizes driving improvements, maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and fostering a customer-focused environment.

Applicants must be US-based, possess a DOT certification, have package car driving experience, and be able to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or internationally comparable degree).
Must be DOT certified and willing to take a physical exam, including a driving test.
Must have UPS Package car driving experience or equivalent.
Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs; able to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Manages and supervises on-road employees to maximize efficiency and ensure safe, timely package delivery and adherence to goals.
Develops and implements work process plans, monitors costs, and troubleshoots service inefficiencies.
Conducts risk management and safety compliance audits and maintains health and safety plans.
Provides feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations; supports staff development and talent attraction.
