Job summary

Traba is looking for a Field Operator to act as the in-market operational hands across the market, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement at multiple customer sites. You will be the local face of Traba to our workforce, building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and ensuring every worker is vetted and ready to succeed on their first shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• English required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing environments (staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, food service, teaching, on-site coordination).
• Strong recruiting instincts and ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Comfortable running large group onboarding sessions and presenting to workers.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor representing Traba with workers, partners, and clients.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to shift priorities and locations as market needs evolve.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced warehouse and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Worker Relationship Management: Build relationships with workers from recruitment through placement, with timely updates and support.
• Community & Partner Relationships: Develop ties with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive pipeline and brand presence.
• Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when needed.
• Worker Funnel Management: Source, screen, schedule, and convert applicants into placement-ready workers.
• New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules across customer sites to match workers to opportunities.
• PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute PPE and provide on-site presence to support new starts and peak coverage.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintain proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ, flagging market trends and risks early.
