Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple commercial grounds teams, optimize routes, and ensure service excellence. You will drive safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction across projects while mentoring field staff and coordinating equipment and materials.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervision, strong turf knowledge, and a valid NC license. A pesticide license or landscape certs are highly preferred; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in commercial landscape maintenance or a closely related green-industry field.
• Strong understanding of turfgrass management, plant identification, pruning techniques, and chemical/fertilizer applications.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Commercial pesticide applicator license or landscape certifications preferred.
• Proficient with smartphone/tablet operations and industry-specific software (Aspire, LMN, Jobber) for scheduling and tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple crews, scheduling routes and labor to maximize productivity.
• Conduct site inspections for contract compliance, turf health, and safety hazards.
• Identify landscape enhancements and coordinate with account management to propose solutions.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials (plants, mulch, chemicals) for daily operations.
• Respond to client requests and resolve service-related issues within 24 hours.
