Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company in Greensboro seeks a hands-on CGM Crew Leader to supervise a year-round grounds maintenance crew on commercial properties. The role blends field production with planning, administration, and client relations on-site.

You will train staff, manage daily workloads, operate equipment, maintain irrigation systems, and ensure work meets company standards. A valid NC driver's license, pesticide license eligibility, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NC Driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain the NC Pesticide Applicator’s License.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance crews on grounds maintenance services.
• Plan and manage daily workloads to ensure efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and logistics each day.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings and training.
• Perform mowing, raking, digging, and weeding of commercial landscapes.
• Monitor irrigation controllers and assist with irrigation tasks.
• Safely operate zero-turn and push mowers, trimmers, edgers, pruners, and related gear.
• Load/unload equipment and materials from trucks.
