Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. in Kerrville, TX seeks a Field Supervisor I to oversee operations of water and wastewater facilities, including staffing, safety, budgeting, and performance management.

The role supervises operators, utility workers, and contractors to ensure reliable service and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in water/wastewater ops, a valid US driver’s license, and preferred licensure.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred. An associate degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field is accepted with proven work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years in a water and/or wastewater utility operations is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Water and/or WasteWater licensure preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Area Manager, this position will be responsible for the assigned water and wastewater facilities' operation, maintenance, staffing, safety, budgeting, business, and employee performance.
• Supervises a team that includes facility operators, utility workers, and contractors while focusing on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversees onboarding and training of new employees and conducts regular staff meetings for updates and improvements.
• Manages the Work Order process and reviews status to ensure timely close-out and proper coding.
