Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Field Supervisor for Kerrville, TX to oversee water and wastewater facilities operations, staffing, safety, budgeting, and performance. You will lead a team of facility operators, utility workers, and contractors, ensuring compliance and high-performance standards.

Under Area Manager guidance, you’ll manage work orders, safety programs, training, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with engineering on capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree with proven work experience accepted.
• Minimum 3 years in water/wastewater utility operations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Water/wastewater licensure preferred; valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of facility operators and contractors with focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.
• Oversees onboarding and staff training; conducts regular staff meetings and communicates updates.
• Manages the Work Order process; ensures close-out and proper reclassification of orders.
• Coordinates with engineering and regulatory teams for capital projects and reporting.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates with other groups to meet work demands.
