Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. seeks a Facility Operator in the Wimberley area to support water production, wastewater treatment, and distribution operations under the Field Supervisor.

You will perform routine maintenance, monitor quality, adjust chemical dosing, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards while coordinating with teams and on-call duties. Working in a dynamic environment, you will operate facilities, troubleshoot issues, document activities, and contribute to safe and reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Must meet licensing requirements: C Water and C Wastewater.
• Ability to perform calculations and interpret measurements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork and on-call availability expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operate and maintain wastewater facilities, lift stations and sewer lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair piping and related equipment.
• Perform routine water quality analyses and adjust chemical dosing.
• Complete work orders and document activities; support on-call duties.
• Adhere to safety, regulatory and company policies.
