Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings/symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.).
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from the General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work details.
• Obtains permissions to perform required work.
• Maintains records and reports related to crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and uses resources efficiently.
• Reports on incidents, equipment issues, and progress.
• Sets up safety barriers and protects the public in work zones.
