Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations in Columbus, OH. You will coordinate tasks, mentor workers, and enforce safety standards on site. CDL is required for driving company vehicles, with travel for storm work as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight limit around 300 pounds for safety considerations.
• No fear of heights and ability to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Discusses access, outages, and work scope with property owners/customers.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of tasks.
