Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily crew activities, train personnel, and ensure safe execution of tree-related jobs. You will coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols while maintaining strong customer relations on site.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to field requirements. A CDL and willingness to travel for storm work are essential, with an emphasis on efficient, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Driver's License Required.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.
• Must not have fear of heights.
• Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment as needed.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after orders are received.
• Lead field training and retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Enforce safety practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Coordinate with property owners on access, outages, and work scope.
• Obtain permissions to perform required work.
• Maintain good customer relations and professional conduct on site.
• Investigate minor incidents and damage claims when delegated.
• Maintain crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Control crew costs and optimize manpower and methods.
• Provide reports on orders completed and crew performance.
• Coordinate with supervisors and utility reps as needed.
• Ensure DOT maintenance and inspection on required vehicles.
