Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, and enforce safety protocols on job sites. The role requires strong leadership, field training, and effective communication with property owners and supervisors.

The Foreperson will plan work, supervise crew performance, monitor safety compliance, and maintain accurate records while traveling for storm work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized in field conditions.
• Capable of independent action with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must meet physical requirements and not fear heights.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after orders from supervisors.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforce safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Coordinate with property owners on access, work scope, and consent.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and reports for crew operations.
• Manage crew costs, personnel, and equipment usage.
• Furnish reports on orders completed and incidents.
• Coordinate with customers, police, and fire departments for street/driveway closures.
