Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crew activities, coordinate with management, ensure safety and training, and mentor field staff. You will plan work orders, supervise performance, manage contractor relations, and monitor DOT compliance while maintaining records and controlling costs.

Requirements include a CDL, clear communication, ability to travel for storm work, and willingness to work in adverse outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Driver's License required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of personnel and equipment.
