Job summary

Asplundh in Ohio is seeking a General Foreperson to oversee daily operations, coordinate with management on staffing, deadlines, and safety rules, and mentor crews on site.

You will troubleshoot routine issues, ensure training compliance, and manage reporting and records across projects, while maintaining safety and quality standards. A CDL and DOT readiness support your supervising role.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret prints and job builds.
• Identify and mitigate job-site hazards.
• Proficient with MS Office and reporting.
• DOT medical card required or obtainable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with client representatives and crews.
• Inspect job sites and enforce safety protocols.
• Control job costs and reconcile invoices.
• Interpret orders and report work in customer systems.
• Direct emergencies and assist with investigations.
• Supervise crews on tasks and safety practices.
• Administer training and enforce policies.
• Participate in regional safety training.
