Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, Bayway, New Jersey, is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead site-level railcar repair operations and develop a high-performing team. You will oversee daily repair work, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and manage staffing, training, and performance metrics.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong safety culture, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and quality standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics.
• Ability to manage teams, schedules, and production priorities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily railcar repair operations and lead a skilled workforce.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance.
• Drive performance against KPIs including turnaround time, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Staffing through recruitment, scheduling, training, and workforce planning.
• Facilitate daily safety and production huddles and ensure accurate repair tracking.
• Lead safety and quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
