Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Rail (Berkshire Hathaway), is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead site-level railcar repair operations in Bayway, NJ.

You will guide a skilled workforce, manage staffing, safety, quality, and production metrics; drive continuous improvement, oversee daily walks, toolbox talks, and ensure timely repair tracking and billing. This role offers a base salary of $76,000–$80,000, first shift, with full benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and quality standards.
• Ability to manage teams, schedules, and production priorities.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations with focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and risks.
