Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily crew productivity, coordinate work, and enforce safety standards on job sites in New Bern, NC. You will train staff, manage client relations, and ensure proper reporting of work performed.

The role requires leadership, organization, and the ability to adapt to field demands, with travel for storm work as needed. A CDL and ability to operate company vehicles are required.

Qualifications

• Understands drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Able to drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Liaises with property owners to obtain access and scope.
• Obtains permissions to perform required work.
• Maintains customer relations and reports on work progress.
• Investigates minor damages and reports.
• Maintains records and reports for crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and resource use.
• Reports orders completed, times, and incidents.
• Cooperates with police and fire departments as needed.
• Sets up barriers and controls hazards.
• Inspects and arranges repairs to tools and vehicles.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection on vehicles.
• Keeps informed on equipment and policies.
