Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Garner, NC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate with management, and enforce safety protocols on diverse line-clearance projects.

You will train and mentor crew, ensure quality work, and communicate with property owners to arrange access and scope. A CDL may be required and travel for storm work is possible; company offers an attractive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organized, able to multi-task and work independently.
• Willing to travel for storm work.
• CDL license may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners/customers; refers complex issues to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports; monitors performance.
