Job summary

RISE Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Assistant for Field Engineering Services in Austin, TX. You will support field engineers, technicians, and management with travel planning, timecard processing, purchasing, and reporting to ensure smooth project execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with after-hours work during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and administrative experience.
• Minimum of 2 years administrative, office support, project coordination, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel arrangements for field personnel.
• Process employee expense reports per policy.
• Enter, review, and maintain timecards and payroll documents.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory, and shipping of equipment and materials.
• Prepare and distribute engineering reports and client deliverables.
• Maintain project files and electronic documentation systems.
• Support scheduling meetings and calendar coordination.
• Provide administrative support to engineers and managers.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend work during peak project seasons.
