Job summary

S&M is seeking an NDT/NDE Technician in Atlanta, GA to inspect structural steel and welds, perform UT/MT testing, and ensure safety of critical projects.

You’ll work in field conditions, climb structures over 200 feet with fall protection, and support calibration, reporting, and quality systems. This full-time role offers ESOP, career growth, and diverse projects within a respected firm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years NDT/NDE metals testing experience or an associate degree.
• Active certifications: CWI in progress or achieved; ASNT Level II in at least one method; ICC and AMPP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and conduct non-destructive testing (UT/MT) to uphold quality standards.
• Manage testing assignments across projects and sites.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and inventories.
• Prepare detailed reports communicating findings.
