Job summary

S&ME is seeking an NDT/NDE Technician in Cincinnati, OH to inspect and test structural steel using UT and MT methods. You will work in the field on projects that may include tall structures, with safety gear and fall protection as required. Strong focus on accuracy and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of NDT/NDE metals testing experience or an associate degree in a related field.
• Active industry certifications (CWI, AMPP, ASNT Level II) are preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform non-destructive testing (UT MT) on structural steel and welds.
• Coordinate testing assignments across multiple projects and maintain testing schedules.
• Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory testing equipment; track inventory and QA records.
• Create detailed reports communicating findings clearly to engineers and clients.
