Job summary

Clear Point Group in Morristown, NJ seeks an L2 Support Engineer to deliver desktop/server/network support across client environments. Hybrid work with 2 days on the road and remaining days onsite in Morristown. You will assist with onboarding, maintenance, and security efforts while collaborating with senior engineers.

The role requires MSP experience, strong Windows and network knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex issues to clients. Local travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support, MSP environment preferred.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, Windows/Mac environment knowledge.
• Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise or NinjaOne).
• Cloud experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st/2nd level tech support for client environments.
• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and escalate to senior engineers as needed.
• Onsite and remote support; assist with onboarding projects.
• Maintain system health, perform patches and backups.
• Communicate clearly with clients and manage expectations.
