Job summary

Bit By Bit is seeking a Level 2 Field Engineer to join our on-site team in New Jersey. This on-call role covers client sites across Northern New Jersey, with installations, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support. You will work directly with clients, travel to sites, and collaborate with our MSP group to resolve issues efficiently.

A strong customer-first mindset and solid IT background are essential. Valid driver’s license and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT support experience, including field service or MSP environments.
• Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite field visits with exceptional customer service during dispatches.
• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of hardware, software, and IT systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide onsite support and document procedures for client environments.
