Job summary
Princeton IT Services, Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer MSP to provide Level 1 and 2 desktop and end-user support across multiple clients in a fast-paced MSP environment.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ desktop or IT support experience, strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 skills, basic networking (VPN, DNS, TCP/IP), Active Directory, and excellent troubleshooting and customer service abilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Desktop Support or IT Support experience.
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user account administration.
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of networking, VPN, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Experience with remote support and ticketing tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop and end-user support.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and support Windows desktops and laptops.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access-related issues.
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
- Perform desktop deployments, upgrades, imaging, and hardware replacements.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues.
- Use ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve support requests.
- Provide remote and onsite support to users and clients.
- Work in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients and priorities.
