Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting. The role supports on-site diagnostic work and ongoing learning under supervision to enhance skills across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment including electrical, braking and cooling systems.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on trailer equipment and systems including brakes, air lines and liftgates.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck equipment and systems.
