Job summary

Channel Partners is seeking an Area Execution Manager to lead field merchandising across an assigned New Jersey market. The role involves in-store supervision, resets, installations, and coordinating a team of merchandising associates to meet project standards and timelines.

The AEM will travel across stores, enforce safety, report progress via mobile apps, and collaborate with the District Manager and client representatives to ensure high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail merchandising, fixture installation, electronic displays, resets, or comparable field experience.
• Experience leading, training, or directing the work of field associates; formal or informal lead experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute planograms and project instructions.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and auto insurance meeting company policy requirements.
• Proficiency with a smartphone, tablet, or iPad for reporting and photo capture.
• Certified, or willing to become certified within 30 days, to safely operate forklifts and aerial/scissor lifts per OSHA requirements.
• Residence within ~30 miles of majority stores; willing to travel by personal vehicle across market and neighboring markets.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee in-store merchandising activities in the assigned territory — resets, new-item cut-ins, planogram compliance, displays, fixture installation, signage, and inventory.
• Direct the in-store team on assigned projects: communicate instructions, sequence tasks on site, inspect completed work against standards.
• Serve as in-market contact; build relationships with store management and client representatives.
• Complete accurate, on-time project reporting through company mobile apps and verify data accuracy.
• Plan efficient daily travel between stores to meet project timelines.
• Enforce safety standards on site; stop and correct unsafe conditions.
• Escalate coverage gaps, staffing needs, and issues to the District Manager.
• Lead the in-store team to complete projects on time and with quality.
• Train and coach associates on merchandising, installation, safety, and retailer requirements.
• Provide input on associate performance and participate in onboarding.
