Job summary

NFIB is seeking an in-person Membership Sales Representative to engage small business owners, present NFIB’s mission, and enroll members in a national movement. This hunter/closer role rewards performance with commissions and bonuses, and no account management after enrollment.

You’ll meet owners where they are, deliver a concise 5-minute presentation, handle objections, and process payments on the spot, with comprehensive benefits and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to present NFIB's mission clearly and persuasively.
• Comfort handling payments and processing enrollments on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation with confidence, authenticity, and urgency.
• Build fast rapport and communicate NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
