Job summary

The role combines hands-on mechanical work with proactive service, delivering on-site troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

The successful candidate has 7+ years of field service experience, strong mechanical skills, and a proactive service mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of relevant field service experience in industrial automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with automated assembly/packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues on automated equipment.
• Independently manage field interventions from assessment to return to production.
• Perform mechanical adjustments, replacements, setup, changeovers and optimizations.
• Support emergency interventions and production-critical situations with a customer-focused approach.
• Work with indexed and continuous-motion automation systems and use HMIs/PLC diagnostics for troubleshooting.
