Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (F&R) seeks a CMT Technician to support public safety by inspecting construction sites and performing field soil and concrete tests under supervision. Work involves entering data on mobile devices and reporting to Project Managers for review.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Prior construction or field testing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete.
• Prepare detailed field reports with test results and observations.
• Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete and prepare reports.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff regarding construction issues.
