Job summary

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (F&R) seeks a CMT Technician to travel to construction sites and perform field soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete tests. You will compile detailed field reports and assist with laboratory testing, supporting project teams in ensuring compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include communicating with clients and crews, interpreting plans, and contributing to safety and quality on projects. This role offers growth through hands-on testing and site visits.

Qualifications

• Perform field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete as part of construction projects.
• Maintain detailed field reports with all test results and observations.
• Assist in laboratory tests on soil and concrete and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites to inspect contractor work and verify compliance with specifications.
• Input inspection data into mobile devices for immediate transmission to project managers.
• Support seniors in evaluating site conditions and provide recommendations.
