We are looking for experience in material testing and relevant safety certifications, with a preference

Qualifications

• Experience in material testing is highly desirable.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR are highly desirable.
• Technical certifications: ACI or WVDOH testing certifications highly valuable.
• Business requirements: proof of independent contractor status (license, insurance) as required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
• Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
• Adapt to varying project locations on a daily basis.
• Communicate findings through clear, accurate written reports.
• Maintain current certification courses to continuously build skills.
• Accommodate periodic out‑of‑town project stays as needed.
