Job summary

The Thrasher Group is seeking a skilled Construction Material Testing Project Representative for our Bridgeport, WV office. This field-focused role centers on ensuring quality in concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil for diverse construction projects.

Be prepared to travel to project sites as needed and communicate findings clearly through written reports. Ideal candidates will have material testing experience and safety certifications (OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR) with valuable WVDOH/ACI testing

Qualifications

• Material testing experience is highly desirable.
• OSHA 10, First Aid and CPR certifications are highly desirable.
• ACI or WVDOH testing certifications highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
• Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
• Adapt to varying project locations on a daily basis.
• Communicate findings effectively through clear, accurate written reports.
• Pursue certification courses to continuously build skills and technical knowledge.
• Accommodate periodic out-of-town project stays as needed.
