Job summary

The Thrasher Group in Canton, OH is seeking a Construction Material Testing Project Representative to support field testing on our active construction sites. You will sample materials such as concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil and report results to project teams.

The role emphasizes on-site work, travel to project locations, and pursuing ongoing certifications (OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR, ACI or WVDOH). Experience with material testing highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in material testing is highly desirable.
• OSHA 10, First Aid, and CPR certifications are highly desirable.
• ACI or WVDOH testing certifications are highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
• Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
• Adapt to varying project locations on a daily basis.
• Communicate findings effectively through clear, accurate written reports.
• Pursue certification courses to continuously build skills and technical knowledge.
• Accommodate periodic out-of-town project stays as needed.
